This week, I had the opportunity to attend the SPE Data Science Conference in Kananaskis, Canada. Thanks to the organizers, speakers, and colleagues who made this conference a remarkable experience! Key takeaways from my side: 1. The trend towards achieving data-driven and practical results has gained momentum, and "high-volume" unconventional resource plays across North America are the ideal areas for that. 2. Engaging stakeholders at all levels, from field personnel to C-suites, is the ONLY way for data teams to create valuable solutions that last. 3. While generative AI has become a fad, companies that integrate it into existing workflows to solve their problems will reap the profits. Cheers.
