It makes every job seeker to fall in a confusing Conflict World War. 🙄🧐💢 Every job seeker should have known that HRMS word doesn't mean hiring human being resource person. It's mean Human Resource Management System 👤. In it alot of various roles and departments include. For example: 1- HR assistant 2- Training specialist 3- HR generalist 4- Compensation and benefits specialist 5- Recruitment manager 6- Employee relations manager 7- Human resources information system (HRIS) analyst 8- Human resources coordinator 9- HR manager Each department have different functions and Responsibilities. ⚙️ Functions & Responsibilities of HRMS (Human Resource Management System): They are the functions and responsibilities of a system but not perform all HR. Just like I mentioned above they have different departments and ranks who manage different functions and responsibilities. Likewise, Functions of HRM is planning, controlling, directing and organizing company activities, utilization of workforce, recruitment and staffing etc. • Staffing (HR planning, recruitment and selection) • Human resource development • Training Development • Maintenance • Compensation and benefits • Safety and health • Administration development Services • Records maintaining, etc. • HR research • Social Development Responsibilities of HRM is managing the employee life cycle (i.e., recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and firing employees) and administering employee benefits. 1- Staffing (planning, job analysis) 2- Talent Acquisition (Recruitment and Selection) 3- Talent Management (Employee engagement, Retention, succession planning, and career development) 4- Training and Development (Training and Orientation Development) 5- Compensation and Benefits 6- Employee Relations (Interrelationship) 7- Performance Appraisal Management 8- Legal Compliance (Employee and labor relations, Wage and Salary Administration) So, before apply kindly understand you are approaching the right HR. Why too many HR people are killing the HR careers of others? And it's not a tunnel visioned focus on Job Titles.....although that is still a thing by the way... BUT, the role of HR Advisor? A solid, essential stalwart of an HR function. "We need solid ER experience" "We need casework management and leadership" "We need proven stakeholder relationship building with Senior/Board level leaders..." All requests that i'm regularly asked for by HR people, of HR applicants, for real jobs. But it leaves a gaping hole of a problem. As an HR Administrator/Assistant/Coordinator, how on earth are you able to rise up to the next level if HR leaders are always looking for ready made, experienced fixes? AND, also concurrently budgeting salaries that can only attract more junior candidates? Problem. How many of you are in such a gap? How many of you have been in such a gap/predicament? Loads of you I bet, but then seemingly forget that when the pressures of a leadership role (and the business you work for) grow. Finding top talent isn't easy, especially when you're trying to fill multiple positions at once. That's where we stepped in for our IT client with offices in San Francisco and Dallas. We took on the challenge of filling three of their HR positions. The most challenging position to fill was the Senior Payroll Manager role. They needed someone with a deep understanding of payroll and finance, and we weren't willing to settle for anything less. Two recruiters from Risch Results worked tirelessly to find the best candidates for all three positions. We kept the hiring team in the loop, organizing weekly meetings to co-present and review candidates. All three positions were filled within two months, with the Senior Manager of Benefits position being filled in just a couple of weeks. For the Senior Payroll Manager role, we found a candidate with 20 years of experience who actually started her career in accounting, giving her the perfect mix of skills for the job. For the Human Resource Business Partner position, we found a candidate with over ten years of experience as an HR advisor.
