Cyclone #Anggrek is a powerful tropical cyclone with sustained winds of >120 mph. The storm is expected to intensify into a category 4-equivalent tropical cyclone, with sustained winds possibly as high as 140 mph according to the most recent forecasts from the Joint Typhoon Warning Center. Preparing for a hurricane is like hosting a very unwelcome guest: you want to ensure they don’t break anything, eat all your food, or leave a mess behind. Start by securing your home as if you’re setting up a fortress – board up windows and clear outdoor items that might become flying missiles.
