Today Vision To Learn was at Northwood Middle School where we provided 40 students with glasses to celebrate our Northeast Ohio partnership with Ford Philanthropy! Thanks to a generous $650,000 grant from Ford Philanthropy, 15,000 #cleveland and #loraincounty students will be provided with vision care, including 5,000 with eye exams and over 4,000 with glasses, all at no cost to students or their families. A huge thank you to Ford Philanthropy for your support. We're excited to continue working with you to ensure that every child in Cleveland and Lorain County has the glasses they need to see clearly in school and in life. #EyeCare #visiontolearn #eyecareprofessionals #glasses

A summer of sight! 👀 With the leaves changing color and summer in the rearview mirror, we want to take the time to celebrate another successful summer partnership with Hartford Public Library. For the past three summers Vision To Learn has partnered with Hartford Public Library to provide children with the glasses they need to see clearly in school and in life. This summer our partnership resulted in over 100 children receiving eye exams and 80 receiving glasses all at no cost to the child or their family. We see you Hartford! 👓 Hartford Public Access Television recently shadowed Vision To Learn's own Sabrina Davis and Christie Agee as they provided glasses to children at Hartford Public Library's Park Branch. For the past three summers Vision To Learn has partnered with Hartford Public Library to visit their various branches and provide eye exams and, if needed, glasses to children 5-18 all at no cost to the child or their family. So far this partnership has resulted in 340 children receiving eye exams and 253 being provided with glasses. https://lnkd.in/gdrehqPV

We had a great time last week with Sobrato Philanthropies where together we provided 23 students at Garfield Elementary School with glasses. A big thank you to Sobrato Philanthropies for supporting Vision To Learn's program in the Bay Area. Last year your support helped Vision To Learn provided over 12,000 vision screenings, 6,500 eye exams, and 5,500 glasses to children all at no cost to the child or their family. A SUNny end to Summer! Yesterday, Vision To Learn's #Connecticut team capped off the summer in style by cheering the Connecticut Sun to a thrilling victory over the Chicago Sky! A huge shoutout to our amazing partners at the Connecticut Sun for not only delivering on the court but also inviting Vision To Learn and eight of the wonderful families we served this summer to experience the excitement firsthand.
