Last week we officially launched the world's first living beer tap as part of our Nature's Taking Over campaign. With The HEINEKEN Company's support, our award-winning Rise Up Lager will be flowing from the taps of select Star Pubs starting this May. We’re bringing the joy of our commitment to a greener, brighter future to pubs near you! Our moss covered beer tap (created by the talented folk at Taplite) is a reminder that nature is all around us, even when we're kicking back with a cold one in the city. Brewery owners do you want to 10x your regulars? Then this is for you... Have you ever caught yourself in the tap room, casting an eye over a sea of empty stools, save for your ever-reliable local propping up the bar? Ah, that stalwart soul who seems to become part of the furniture, pint in hand, only exiting when gently nudged by a broom at closing time. 🧹🚪 But imagine, just for a second, if you could multiply that scene - not by 2, not even by 5, but by a whopping 10! Imagine a bustling bar, filled with loyal punters, each with their favourite brew in hand. Sounds like a dream? Let’s have a go at turning it into reality with three simple yet genius strategies to grow your tribe of faithful punters... 1️⃣ Memberships: Think about launching a membership scheme that’s too tempting to resist. Offer perks that make your members feel like royalty - exclusive discounts, first dibs on events, or sneak peeks at new brews. The aim is to create a VIP vibe and let them into your sud soaked world, making them part of something special. 2️⃣ Subscriptions: Picture this: punters pre-paying for their pints! With a rolling subscription, they can grab a set amount of beer monthly, straight from the tap room or delivered to their doorstep, gratis. Ideal for showcasing your seasonal specials or experimental elixirs, it’s a brilliant way to keep your brews flowing and your till ringing. 3️⃣ Bring a brew buddy: And why not double the fun with a “Bring a Buddy” campaign? Introduce enticing offers like two-for-one deals or first rounds on the house. The aim is to fill your tap room with new faces, turning first-timers into regulars, and creating a buzzing community vibe. So, my dear brewmasters, what’s your secret brew for attracting a loyal following? Spill secrets in the comments below! And if you’re thirsting for more strategies to create a loyal legion of beer lovers, let’s chat. #brandstrategy #brewery #breweryowners #beerdesign #brewerydesign

You may only need one idea to change everything. …here’s an idea from a beer festival. 👇 I was an invited guest to a special beer festival. I’ve never been into a brewery before, so it was really nice that it was held in the Joseph Holt brewery itself in Manchester. The beer festival was part of Joseph Holt’s 175th anniversary celebrations. To make it easy for everyone they converted one of the brewery rooms into one long bar. As you can see from the picture it was jam packed full of different beers. There was a lot of choice. It was easy to see what the choices were. They made sure everyone could clearly see what was on offer. And that’s the idea. It’s so easy for us to assume that our existing customers know what we do. The thing is - they probably don’t. And if they don’t know then they can’t or won’t buy. 💥 What can you do to remind your existing customers of everything you do ? 💥 Just like the beer festival… …..reminding them of everything that you offer, might just mean more sales and more cash coming into your business. ❤️ Share if this is helpful 🔥 Follow me on LinkedIn for more content on pricing, profit and creating a better business.
