❗ YES, Porsche is pushing eFuels in motorsport. From 19 May at Imola, Italy, the “2024 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup” will run exclusively on potentially nearly synthetic #eFuel. The raw fuel is supplied by the Haru Oni pilot plant in Chile. 🏁 With this flagship project, Porsche AG wants to show the way to a #motorsport with the best possible net CO2-neutral balance sheet and aims to play a pioneering role. E-Fuels … I love the idea to have this kind of “carbonated hydrogen” - serving as easy to handle fluid battery, reusing Infrastructure which is worth billions !

5moThis is great. We need other options besides just EV. What would it take for a current ICE to use this fuel? Different injectors, fuel pumps, ECU tune???
