🇪🇺 The European Commission has published a report on the evolution of the real-world #CO2 emissions gap for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. 🛣 Here, the emissions measured in the #WLTP are compared to "real-world" CO2 #emissions on the road. 👨🔬 The report concluded that actual fuel consumption produced is approx. 1/5 higher than emissions produced during laboratory tests. Especially #ICE and #hybrid cars showed a significant difference between laboratory and real-world conditions. ❗It goes to show that #EVs are the more sustainable choice on the path to #decarbonisation, calling for increased enforcement of CO2 standards!
