Serologically active clinically quiescent (SACQ) systemic #lupus erythematosus is heterogeneous, but hierarchical cluster analysis subgroups these patients into three distinct #phenotypes with unique flare patterns and organ damage accumulation rates: the major organ involvement subtype (cluster 1), precise SACQ subtype (cluster 2), and #renal involvement subtype (cluster 3). Did you know that an elevated MPV is common in patients with Anxiety? Only found this out because I did a deep dive on MPV when I discovered mine was elevated (and my platelets were low). It seems like another bio marker for a low-serotonin issue, as we are learning that #platelets and seratonin are linked. In sum, I would hypothesize we could catch some cases of #ITP in anxious patients with a simple CBC test. Then, I hypothesize, we would find a larger than average population there who have #MTHFR thermolabile-type, which would probably help explain the low seratonin synthesis…since that’s one of the defective outcomes down the line with this mutation…
