Letting go of a task is usually more difficult than the task itself. Delegation requires that we prepare and equip others to do what we've been doing. It requires time, communication, and teaching. But that's exactly what a good leader does; prepare and equip others.
When we delegate tasks we get things done. But when we delegate responsibility, others get done much more than we ever could.
