#Publications 𝗦&𝗥 𝗔𝗜 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀: 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗦𝗚 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮’𝘀 𝗔𝗜-𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 As AI continues to transform industries in crucial ways, the training of large AI models remains highly energy- and resource-intensive, resulting in significant emissions and waste. For countries and companies which have ambitious net-zero goals, balancing AI ambitions with existing decarbonization strategies is important. As India accelerates its journey towards becoming a global economic powerhouse, it may want to address the environmental implications of increased AI deployment, including by regulating AI with the aim of making increased adoption sustainable. Where companies are concerned, investing in ‘green AI’ will not only benefit the environment but may also enhance their ESG profiles. Going forward, the integration of climate considerations into AI policy is likely to become an important element of responsible AI development. 💡 AI and Its Transformative Potential: Key Takeaways from Davos I just watched “The AI Economy: An Engine for Local Growth” live from Davos—a truly fascinating session on AI’s potential to drive economic growth while addressing global challenges. The panel explored AI’s ability to add $19.9 trillion to global GDP by 2030, but also highlighted the importance of ensuring this growth benefits everyone. On the panel were Ian Bremmer Eurasia Group Nadia Calviño, European Investment Bank, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, WTO, Brad Smith, Microsoft, Peng Xiao, G42, moderated by Becky Anderson, CNN. Highlights worth discussing: *Equitable Expansion*: How can AI’s benefits extend to the Global South, where access to basic infrastructure remains a hurdle? *Strategic Investments*: What role do investments play in bridging the digital divide and driving inclusivity in AI adoption? *Institutional Reform*: Are our current frameworks sufficient to manage the complexities of AI’s growth and governance? *Global Collaboration*: With no opting out of globalization in AI’s development, how do we ensure every region has a voice at the table? What does this mean for those of us in supply chain and procurement, these themes carry real-world implications. Clearly AI isn’t just about efficiency—it’s about reshaping how we operate in a globally connected economy. My post was most of all to advance our collective understanding. But would also be curious. What stands out to you about AI’s role in driving this shift in growth and dynamics for our supply chain? How do you see this influencing our field way beyond just the use of the tool per se? Alan J. Rice Gregor Stühler Koray Köse Bart Jongen Lance Younger Andreas Zimmermann Rinus Strydom Dr. Karsten Machholz Shachi Rai Gupta Constantine Limberakis Edmund Zagorin Alexander Pingert Martin Eckardt If you missed the session, it’s worth a watch: Replay here. https://lnkd.in/dWutw7ff #Davos2025 #Innovation #SupplyChainGrowth #Mindset #HumanBehavior #PoketheBear

Shobana Kamineni’s Insights on Tech, AI & Leadership at WEF 2025 "A lot happened at the World Economic Forum. The anticipation for the #UnionBudget among the Indian contingent was palpable. But what has stayed with me: 1) Benioff’s words – "Today's CEOs are the last generation to manage an all-human workforce" – couldn’t agree more. The near future will be straight out of a sci-fi movie. 2) The candid, polarizing address by Donald J. Trump - making his presence felt from miles away. 3) But most importantly – the very real impact of AI and tech on all our lives. The onus is on us to put the right checks and balances so that we harness the good of AI vs succumbing to its power. However, having heard all voices, I'm convinced that AI can, and will, become a great unifier for humanity. With more collaborative global regimes, breakthrough in tech and greater intent, I’m rooting for a more peaceful, connected and prosperous world." #AI #Leadership #Tech #ApolloHospitals #TouchingLives #WEF #Insights #Innovation #HealthCare #Technology

I strongly believe that knowledge is the key and we have just to learn how to use AI to get the main advantages in our lives. I fully share Mr. Chearavanont vision!
Suphachai Chearavanont, CEO of C.P. Group, joined the World Economic Forum 2025 in Davos, Switzerland, held between January 20-24, 2025. Reflecting upon the annual global gathering, he shared his global vision focusing on driving the development of AI and clean energy for the economy of the future. Mr. Suphachai explained that AI will no longer be a threat to the workforce but rather a key tool in creating an "Inclusive Economy"—an economy that encompasses all parts of society to reduce disparities and foster equality in economic, financial, educational, and healthcare systems. AI is not just transforming the way we work; it also has the potential to reform the entire economic system, enhance business efficiency, and enhance governance in tech. AI governance will also be a critical pillar in developing a sustainable economy in the future. Furthermore, integrating clean energy into the economy not only reduces environmental impacts but also enhances long-term competitiveness for countries and businesses. Finally, Mr. Suphachai emphasized C.P. Group’s commitment to contributing to the advancement of Thailand's economy toward global leadership while maintaining a balance between business growth and environmental responsibility.
