There are more than one million MSMEs in the Philippines that play an important role in driving economic growth. Yet many face challenges in digitization and being able to accept digital payments, which is why Visa’s Rapid Seller Onboarding (RSO) program is important in closing the gap. RSO eliminates the pain points merchants and acquirers face during the traditional onboarding process. I’m delighted to share that Visa works with key partners such as Maya and PayMongo in the Philippines with RSO now live in-market, speeding up the digital onboarding process for MSMEs to three to five days instead of several weeks. The IT sector is expected to experience a decline in demand and company value in the coming years, according to Serge Hancharevich 🇺🇦, Managing Partner of Capital Times . The decline in Ukrainian IT exports by 8.5% in 2023 has led to a decrease in profitability and share prices for some giants.
