We're thrilled to share that we're planning to equip all Walmart Supercenters and Neighborhood Markets with Caroline's Carts by January 2025! These comfortable carts are designed to help caregivers of children and adults with disabilities navigate our stores using one single cart, making it more accessible, convenient and inclusive for all to shop with us.
Serving customers how they need / want to be served.
Outstanding insight by @WalmartWorld! Providing Carolines Carts to make shopping at your stores accessible to the special needs and mobility challenged optimizes the shopping experience for even more customers. The shopping experience at a granular level is still way too often overlooked by other retailers. #WalmartWorld does it best! Electric mobility carts, shopping carts with car seat carriers for new-families with infants, carts with Shop-Alongs for families shopping with their kids and now Carolines Carts!, -this is building a better customer experience done right! -And is on point with #DougMcMillans focus on prioritizing customer needs! 😊
We are so proud to partner with Walmart on this rollout. What a wonderful product for an underserved part of our society. Great job Walmart!
What a great way to make your stores more #accessible for people and their families/caregivers!
We already have some at our store how about a raise for the front-end employee 🤔
Fantastic update! I love this idea for my self it’s been a difficult journey and learning curve I used to do all of the shopping myself but do to limb loss over the winter now things are much more difficult it takes what seems like forever to get around get my ready in my chair out and to the store and my spouse fallows with a cart people run out in front of me like I’m the one that is too stop for them that have two legs it’s like wait a minute here . But anyway it’s an awesome improvement
This is fantastic news! Kudos to Walmart for taking such a significant step towards inclusivity and accessibility.
Kudos to Walmart for developing a cart that aims to fit to customer's needs, will be interested to learn how they're used.
Need to give credit to Store #14 in Lebanon mo for pushing to get this cart available!

2moAs a disabled employee of WALMART myself. A+ WALMART for caring about both its disabled employees and customers. WALMART goes over and beyond to work with the disabled. I have worked with WALMART off and on for over 10 years. They have personally worked with me on a personal level. I am currently going to college at Rio Salado College made possible through the Walmart's Live Better U program. Walmart is a great place for disabled people to shop and work at. I recommend WALMART every day as a great place for disabled individuals every day. If you don't know, as a person with ASD, they even have sensory-friendly hours from 8am until 10 am. This is great for a child or adult with sensory-sensitive issues while shopping. I plan on continuing my education with WALMART and giving many more years of service to them and retiring with WALMART one day.
