When I started in business, I made a promise to myself.. we’d never take on a role that I didn't 100% believe we could fill and fill well. And that remains true to this day, over 20 years later. Does that mean we sometimes don’t get the new client or take on the role? Of course. But that’s precisely the point. Because for me, honesty from day one builds the trust that creates long-term success. It builds credibility. Clients come to us not just for senior hires but for clarity. On what’s possible, where the market stands, and how we can help them grow. That means we don’t sugarcoat the hard truths or overpromise. Instead, we deliver solutions based on real expertise and real conversations. And develop genuine, long term relationships.. where we know we can provide the value our clients really need. And do we get it right all the time, again of course not. Everyone makes mistakes - how you manage them is the important thing. And if the intention is always good, people will trust you to do the right thing. And the vast majority of the time - the result will follow.

Office days... what does yours start with ? 🏢 Mine starts with a good cup of coffee and a morning catch up, this morning it was with Jake Rigby CertRP (we put the world to rights)☕ 🤝 I then set my targets for the day and write a to do list.. yes I'm that person 📝 What mine looks like for today 👀 -Email & phone all New, potential and existing clients 📧 📲 -Follow up all visits yesterday with Terms of Business & Charge rates 📣 -Catch up with the recruitment team to see what staff we have coming through 👩💼 -Catch up with bookings to talk about lapsed and target areas 💻 -meet with BD managers to discuss plans in diary and meetings booked 🗺 -Plan next week 💹 -Mileage form 🚗 -Plan our two day stay in Wales 🐉 -Handover as off for the next two days for my Birthday 📚 -Out of office on 📆 Admin days are just as important as my days out, if I didn't follow up with visits there wouldn't be business generated 💪 So just have a think what does your "to do list" Look like today ? 😎 #staffing #businessdevelopment #senior #workingrelationships #work #office #clients #visits #southport Tezlom®
