Take a look at the future of Walsall Town Centre! 🤩 Exciting changes are coming to Walsall as part of the borough’s £1.5 billion transformation programme. We've secured funding to revitalise our town, making it greener, more attractive, and inviting. Get ready for a stunning makeover around Gallery Square and Park Street, and an improved canal basin for pedestrians and boaters. ⬇️
What a gross waste of public money . Use the money to get young families onto the housing ladder and improve social care provision for older people People won’t go if their intemidated by the down and outs that are blighting the town centre , that might encourage more residents to go into Walsall for a start
Such an honour to have the pleasure to work on this inspirational regeneration for Walsall .

Another improvement to Walsall town centre. I'm very pleased to be involved in developing the procurement strategy for the project!
Those reference pic are a little pointless with no reference to where in Walsall town they are supposed to be, or are we literally talking a new bit of block paving and the odd water fearure
Will be such a great scheme for Walsall! Very happy to be involved!
Walsall Council reading this warms my heart. Having been born in Walsall and really wanting better for this area it's great funding will allow this to happen.
It’s great to see the Borough’s ambitious plans to breathe life into Walsall Town Centre coming to fruition…as a local it’s particularly exciting
This looks amazing. I hope it turns out this way! I was born in Walsall, and I have always said it needed a refresh! I can't wait for it to come together and see the progress! 😁

1wIt’s nice to see the green space in the town centre, but I do think it needs more street trees. With global warming we need to compensate for the heat island effect (trees will lower the temperature), and provide shade for people to walk. Additionally, a really good play area right in the centre of this space for adults and children would have acted as a real draw. What about swings for teenagers and adults to use instead of benches and boulders. We need to encourage people to be more active so let’s encourage them and provide them with the opportunities.
