Yang mereka cari pertama kali adalah kata kunci (keyword) tertentu yang relevan dengan kebutuhan perusahaan. Jadi, apa sebenarnya yang dimaksud dengan "keyword" ini? Keyword merupakan kata kunci yang menandakan kriteria yang dicari oleh perusahaan. Sebaiknya hindari penggunaan kata-kata yang terlalu umum atau yang sering digunakan oleh banyak orang.
