When completing assessments for customers , understanding the unique routines, hours, and needs of our customers is not just important—it's imperative. That's why I find Care Coordiantoes should be at the forefront of client assessments rather than care supervisors. Care coordinators are intimately familiar with the day-to-day realities of those we support. They are the ones who craft care plans, adjust schedules, and ensure that each customer's individual needs are met with precision and empathy. Their hands-on approach and direct interaction with customers equip them with insights that are crucial for assessments. By entrusting care coordinators with this responsibility, we ensure that assessments are not just a formality but a true reflection of our commitment to tailored care. It's time we recognise the value of detailed knowledge and the personal touch that care coordinators bring to the table. This helps place our clients' well-being at the heart of every assessment.
