Celebrating Small Business Saturday! 🎉 As co-owner of a small business, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the incredible journey of others in the same boat. Today, on Small Business Saturday, I want to take a moment to highlight some of my favorite small businesses. Personal faves: ✨ Allure Advertising - We absolutely love working with Allure and have recommended Alaiya to a number of clients! 🌶️ Sauces by Jrk! : Their sauces reflect Jamaican culture through carefully sourced ingredients, bold flavor, and unwavering quality standards. 🥂 The New Bar - The alcohol-free drink discovery platform. Curated products, tips, and tools to help you drink less. 🪑 Ergonomia - They are the best source for beautiful commercial quality European indoor and outdoor furniture products. Their customer service is unmatched. ☕ Royal Roastery NOLA - I’ve watched this business grow and even branch out into other states. Their commitment to quality and the kindness of their team have won me over. I definitely recommend giving them a try. And while I’m excited to highlight these amazing small businesses, I also want to give you a glimpse into the life of a small business owner. Co-owning a small business is a mix of reward and stress (something most of us can relate to). But we know that what really matters is the experience we provide for our customers. For us, it’s super important to keep a close eye on how our clients feel during our time together. That also goes for all the vendors we work with, on any client or account. We strive to be the kind of people you remember, making the journey enjoyable for everyone. Small Business Saturday isn’t just about great deals; it’s about the hard work, sacrifices, and rewards that come with running a successful small business. So today, and every other day, we want to thank you for supporting us and encourage you to support more small businesses! Happy Small Business Saturday! #strategymavenagency #allureads #smallbusinesssaturday #royalroastery #thenewbar #saucesbyjrk #ergonomania #supportsmall

Our Small Business Mega-Mixer is coming up this Saturday! We're getting a lot of questions, so we're going to try to answer them here: What is the Mega-Mixer? It'll be a combination of small business expo & trunk or treat. It's an opportunity for small businesses to showcase their services, give out information, network with other business-owners, and make new connections with the community. Through our drive-in journey, we've met some incredible local businesses and entrepreneurs and want to use our platform and location to amplify their voices. We currently have 60+ vendors registered and anticipate more by the weekend. They span a wide variety of industries and we're looking forward to meeting everyone! When is it? Saturday, May 18, from 12-3PM. Registered vendors/businesses may arrive between 11 and 12 to set up their space. Is it open to the public? Absolutely! It will be open to the public from 12-3. Admission is free. Children and pets are welcome! I have a business. How do I sign up? It's FREE to sign up, we just request that you register ahead of time so we can make sure we have room for everyone. Each registration is for ONE PARKING SPACE. We are keeping about half the lot open for parking so the public can attend. The registration link is here: https://lnkd.in/gvfcSQ-4 Will there be food? Yes! We will have our drive-in snack bar open throughout the event with our full menu of tasty treats and meal options for purchase. How much space will each business have? You will have ONE parking space per business/organization, and your table & materials must fit within that space. You will not have access to a power hookup. Tents are OK as long as they fit within the parking space. What if it rains? This event will be held rain or shine, but right now it looks like the weather will be okay! If there is a weather emergency, we will make an announcement. This mixer is a first for us, so we're excited to see how it goes!

Tomorrow is Small Business Saturday UK, and a great time to celebrate the importance of local businesses. We all know that SMEs have endured a torrid time over the last 3 years, so join Lenkie in acknowledging their resilient contribution to our communities, and showing them some appreciation. Obviously you can speak through a purchase, whether buying gifts, enjoying a meal or grabbing a coffee, but you can do so much more than that: - Pause for a moment to congratulate them on what their doing; - Tell them what it means to you to have a local business vs a corporate chain; - Take 2 minutes to write them a good review; - Give them a like or reshare on any socials they publish. Let us know below if you're going to join team Lenkie in doing each of the above, or give us your own ideas for showing some love to our local businesses. #smallbusiness #smallbusinessowner Small Business Britain
