Thanks! Watched this and also other videos on YouTube about WSH. Interesting to watch the one about the WSH Graveyard, and the efforts of volunteer group called Grave Concern who has been working on restoring the gravesites and putting names on the 3200 patient burial sites that formerly were only identified by a number. The cemetery buried residents of the hospital from 1876 to 1953. I worked there on a special project to help the hospital complete a bunch of psychosocial assessments for several Months in 1987. They were facing an upcoming survey and had to get charts in compliance.
RETIRED! Chief of Psychology, Monroe Corrections Complex at State of Washington, Department of Corrections
2moI worked at WSH from Jan 2006 to November 2020 when I moved to be near family in Snohomish County. It was the most rewarding work - to be a team member with caring professionals - and to provide care to vulnerable adults. Happy Birthday WSH - you may not be appreciated by outsiders but you have made a positive difference in many lives of both staff and patients.
