Global Recruiting Operations Leader | Veterans ERG Chair | Program & Project Management | Process Optimization | Data, Operations & Systems Guru | Recruiter Enablement | Recruitment Marketing & Employment Branding
An unsolicited recommendation from a Recruiting Ops professional currently sourcing for a few tough to fill roles. 🙏🏾 Please have a LinkedIn summary! 🙏🏾 Especially if you don’t want to list your job duties / accomplishments under each of your jobs. This helps recruiters when sourcing on the Recruiting side of LinkedIn. In your summary tell me about what you do. Help me find you! A couple of examples that immediately come to mind: If you are a attorney put the type of work you do (IE: Litigation - product liabaility / personal injury / etc.) If you are a Operations Leader - tell me about your Operations experience in more detail (Manage a region that spans TX, NM, CO, ID while leading a team of x, with full P&L responsibility and expertise in increasing profitability and improving Operational efficiency using Lean methodologies)

I think that one of the greatest ways that trust is earned is through accountability. When things don't go our way, it's easy to assign blame to some external factor and just keep going. But just because it's easy, doesn't mean it's right. It's a lot more difficult to hold someone accountable, especially when that person is us. At GavinHeath, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of accountability, ensuring transparency, reliability, and integrity in all our interactions. Here is how we define Accountability at GavinHeath: ✅ Taking ownership of our actions and decisions ✅ Delivering on promises and commitments ✅ Learning from mistakes and continuously improving Learn more about our award-winning team at www.gavinheath.com Looking for a job? Job interviews are tricky and awkward for everyone, but for neurodiverse people, they’re an active obstacle to gaining employment. I would even say that job interviews expose the innate bias that many neurotypical people are born with against neurodiversity. Think “body language” — one of the many pieces of advice given to people before an interview is to make strong eye contact, a firm handshake, and to sit straight and still. These are all things most autistic people struggle with. One thing autistic people are told time and time again when they reveal their diagnosis is, “Oh, but it’s a superpower! Autism is a superpower!” So why not hire a superhero, then? I would love to bring together a team of neurodiverse individuals to discuss what the solution to this system is.
While in the hiring process we are looking for people who ‘can think outside of the box’ should we not be looking at our own ability to do same… loved this from Cúnla ní Bhraonáin Morris

I make print/sign/label/promo sales easier, better, and more fun for people who can’t, won’t, or don’t know how.
You hire a rep, you fire a rep. You hire a rep, you fire a rep. There are a lot of reasons for this repeat pattern but the problem I point out in this week’s blog is one of the most common. See the comments section for the link.
