Climate change is affecting the entire globe, causing extreme weather events such as flooding, extreme heat waves, heavy downpours, as well as rapidly changing climate conditions. It is essential to understand where carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions come from, so that actions to reduce emissions can be taken. #carbonfootprint #climatechange #climatesustainability #protectourclimate #sustainbleliving #environmentalawareness

86/366 Climate Change is real and not a myth. Due to the hot and dry weather in Sabah, there are few places that experience high frequency of fire. Some of this is caused by open burning activity especially at the peat soil. On Facebook we can see all the authorities such as DOE promote awareness to the public about open burning and effects of open burning towards the environment. As a reminder, open burning activity can lead to RM2000 compounds as stated in EQA1974. #NadzmiJourney

Most impacts of climate change come down to water💧 Only 0.5% of water on Earth is useable and available freshwater – and climate change is dangerously affecting that supply. It's no secret that water and climate change are deeply intertwined, impacting our world in complex and interconnected ways. And as temperatures rise, freshwater availability will decline to dangerous levels leaving us with less water available for our day to day lives and overall survival. Climate change is real and so as a society and nation let's embark on practising climate friendly activities such as the use of alternate energy sources as compared to fuels which emit gases that cause destruction to our ozone layer and also lets reduce on the cutting of trees to ensure our ecosystem functions accordingly. Below is a picture of us embarking on a tree planting exercise to cushion the impact of climate change. #plantatree
