So happy to be partnering with Waterford.org to host family engagement events this fall. They do the work for you! Check out what they sent me for our social media!! 📚 RSU 22 families of students in PreK - Grade 2 are invited to join Waterford.org to discover how to support reading skills at home! 🏠 We’ll share engaging ways to help your child build strong reading habits, with fun, hands-on activities for the whole family. Plus, you’ll gain access to valuable resources, games, and reading tools designed for home use! 🍿Snacks will be provided and there will be a gift card raffle at the end of the evening. 🎁 We can’t wait to see you there! Thank you Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency for giving me the opportunity to execute my second literacy fair which took place over 2 consecutive days. This opportunity allowed me to offer resources to several head start locations during their monthly parent meetings with the help of several community partners. Parents were able to meet with experts in the field of literacy and childhood development to promote reading and early literacy. Special thanks to Winn Reading, Waterford.org, Cincinnati Children's, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, Everybody is LITT Academy, and Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library - Clifton branch, for sharing your knowledge and resources with the families and for your flexibility and willingness to go where there was a need! #literacyfair #community #resources

Yesterday, our Waterford.org team visited @FresnoUnifiedSD. Witnessing the commitment of administrators and teachers @FUSD and A4 (Office of African American Academic Acceleration) to improving student outcomes was truly inspiring. We are honored to be part of these efforts. Collaboration, cultivating relationships, and active listening are essential for our collective success and the positve trajectory of the families and students we serve.
