Recognition So what does that mean? - Customize your gift - Make it experiential - Make it personal - Write a handwritten note Don't just give a generic Starbucks gift card. Instead, give a personalized cup with their name on it + their favorite coffee or tea. It's the little touches that will make your client feel valued and appreciated. So next time you're thinking about gifting something to your clients, think about the gift that keeps on giving: appreciation and recognition.

Did you see that coming? I know, I was surprised too 😱 Using the element of surprise to wow our customers is like adding a dash of magic to our business. It's all about going the extra mile to make customers go, "Wow, I didn't see that coming!" When we do that, we’re not just meeting their expectations; we’re blowing them out of the water. Imagine you're a regular at your favorite coffee joint, and on your birthday, they slip you a free pastry or scribble a heartfelt "Thanks for being awesome" note on your cup. Or after your routine doctor’s visit you receive a thank you card in the mail with a Starbucks gift card and the note says “Thank you for making me laugh in the exam room, it made my day better. Coffee is on me”. These little surprises make you feel special, right? That's the secret sauce behind building a fan base of loyal customers who can't help but sing our praises. I know it's August 5th and if you're like me, you're currently enthralled in the #olympics and perhaps melting in the late summer heat waves. We are celebrating our customers this week and incase you had no idea what this year's theme is, i decided to let you know 👇 . The five core goals of the Week are: Celebrate front-line staff who are the flag bearers of the company. Thank customers for their loyalty. Remind your team of the need to be a customer-centric organization. Tell your customer service success stories. Renew your dedication to service excellence. You don't have to be a customer service personnel to take part or join in the celebrations, do this instead: Send thank you messages and emails to customers. Appreciate your team for the efforts they are putting in place to serve the customers. Thank other stakeholders within the supply chain who make it possible for your team to serve the customers well. Share candies, gift cards and other gifts to customers as they visit the store throughout the week. 😍 😍 Management team should join the front-line staff in receiving customers to show the dedication of management to customer experience. Don't forget to REWARD: Recognize your team members for their service and dedication. Genuinely identify outstanding behaviors and dedication to good service and recognize these efforts. Present certificates of appreciation to individuals, departments and groups that have significantly contributed to improving the level of service offered to customers.

Toggle Time 3: Snow Me The Money! ☃️ It’s Toggle Time once again. 60% of all hospitality gifting takes place in November & December, and over the next 8 weeks £27m of Toggle gift cards will be purchased. That’s almost half a million pounds a day 📈 As with the two previous Toggle Times, we’re going to raise awareness the only way we know how. With jet-packs, confetti cannons, overly elaborate videos & lots of glitter. But there is a very serious message behind this year's campaign. We’re fortunate enough to have almost 500 hospitality brands now live, selling their gift cards, experiences, merchandise & Black Friday deals. So this year's campaign isn’t about attracting new groups to sign up (although that is always lovely), but to support all of our existing Togglers in driving as much revenue as possible through their shops. This will be our 6th year of Toggle, and we've reduced all of that learning down into 6 top tips. All killer, no stocking filler. Backed up with stats and the impact you should expect to see from each.
