Encouraged by my network, I'm excited to invite you to join Marked Safe, a new initiative dedicated to Black women's empowerment in the workplace. This platform offers a safe space for sharing experiences - both positive and challenging - faced in professional environments. The inception of this idea was sparked by the growing demand for action in creating avenues that ensure the safety and support of Black women in their professional environments. 🌟 Why Marked Safe? Black women are increasingly leaving leadership roles and facing undue stress due to workplace issues like bullying, harassment, and lack of support, despite companies claiming to support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Marked Safe aims to make DEI more than just a term; it's about accountability and ensuring safety. ✍🏾The Black Female Voice Matters By sharing your stories, you're not only shedding light on your journey but also guiding others in making informed decisions about their career paths. Your insights can help build a community that advocates for safer, more inclusive work environments. How to Get Involved: 🙏🏾 Participate by visiting Marked Safe: https://lnkd.in/gRYbMmea and sharing your experience with safety. Your contribution can make a significant difference! 🤝🏾 Let's join hands in making workplaces better for every Black woman. Share, participate, and let these voices be heard and seen. #MarkedSafe #Empowerment #WorkplaceInclusion #MakeYourMark

Inspiring leaders to leverage psychological safety to better serve their team, organizations and clients.
Am I a hero? A thought that went through my mind when this came about, it's a heavy label to digest. Being conflicted about this, so I decided to ask AI, "what makes a hero?" Below are a few of the responses. Some key elements include: 1. **Courage**: Facing danger or adversity with bravery. 2. **Selflessness**: Prioritizing the well-being of others over personal gain. 3. **Integrity**: Upholding strong moral principles even when it is difficult. 4. **Impact**: Making a significant positive difference in the lives of others. 5. **Perseverance**: Persisting through challenges and setbacks to achieve goals. It seems heroes can come from all walks of life and can be recognized for grand gestures or simple acts of kindness and bravery that inspire others. There are so many heroes that never get acknowledged for their work, I take this time to acknowledge you! This Memorial Day, we reflect on the origins of this solemn occasion, honoring the lives lost in battles throughout history. From its inception in the aftermath of the Civil War to its global significance today, Memorial Day serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made for freedom and justice. As we pay tribute to the fallen, let's also consider the importance of integrating Memorial Day into our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts. Recognizing the diverse ways individuals experience this holiday fosters a sense of belonging and understanding in the workplace. Let's honor the past while building a more inclusive future. #MemorialDay #WorkplaceInclusion #InclusiveLeadership #DEI #LeadershipEvolution #DiversityEquityAndInclusion #Diversity #Culture #BeyondInclusion #BeyondInclusionGroup #WorkplaceCulture
