If anyone thinks of answering an ad about remote work of survey, consumer opinion, focus groups, mock juries, or the like - feel free to ask me questions. My list of gigs is easily over 500 but in that particular area, at least 50.
The Exes got on tv in part because of me
Purina One got some new design
Doggy Potty Pads for apartments or such
Weight Watchers new approach back several years
Some washer and dryer combo for how the buttons would configure
Add another 100+ secret/mystery shops, acting roles in team building companies, and refereed when company teams competed to build free bikes for needy kids. Mock juries, yes. Handing out samples, yes. Scanning badges at Dreamforce? Yes. Oh, and free movie premieres. One coming up this weekend before it opens nationwide.
If you have questions about gigs in general, please reach out. If you are a recruiter, imagine all the experiences I've had that increased my knowledge about vast amounts of random stuff you never knew you needed to know.
*A family food chain wants everyone greeted within 8 seconds of getting in the door.
*A naughty lingerie store wants the customer greeted before they get off the tile entry.
*If you are carrying more than 2 items in this store, a store employee must offer you a cart.
*At a particular hotel chain (that I stayed at free about 2 dozen times) it's okay at 15 feet to just acknowledge a guest, but if they are within 5 feet of you there is something specifically they are to use when greeting you.
*At a certain drug store chain, at 6 locations in one night my very young looking child attempted to buy cigs.
*Same child at Circuit City, Walmart, Target, and Best Buy he attempted to buy Mature Rated video games. (He succeeded at Circuit City only)
Please ask questions of me any time about gig environments, conditions, pay, expectations and most of all -- whether you can make an entire job out of it.
