🌟 Bonitasoft Annual Kickoff 2024 🌟 Grenoble was buzzing as our teams from France, Canada, and Spain united for an unforgettable annual #kickoff! The event kicked off with engaging presentations from our CoDir members and Bonitasofters, setting the stage for #innovation and #collaboration. Then, each team dived into their team-building activities. The activities ranged from escape games to bowling to a relaxing afternoon at the spa Day two was all about collaborative teamwork. The highlight, however, was our corporate team-building event - Chain Reaction in the afternoon (thank you DIVERTY events!). It wasn't just an activity; it was a showcase of our creativity, problem-solving skills, and incredible ability to work as one big, cohesive team. The chain reaction we created was not just a physical construct but a symbolic representation of how we, as a company, operate – each one of us playing a crucial part in the bigger picture, driving the company forward. As we move forward, the energy and inspiration from these two days fuel our journey into a promising year. Here's to a future of breakthroughs and continued success together! **Things I learned and enjoyed this week at F&G:** This was *Connection Week*, and it was packed with team connections, meetings, and exciting updates about the company. My top three takeaways: 1. **Building Connections with Co-Workers:** Connection Week is a great opportunity to deepen internal partnerships. I had the chance to get to know my colleague Andy Brewer and discovered we’re both huge history buffs! Listening to Andy’s stories about his trips to places like Boston and London was fascinating. I could listen to him for hours. It was great connecting with you this week, Andy! 2. **Investing in Our Community:** We received fantastic updates on how F&G is actively connecting with and supporting the community through United Way inspiring to be part of a company that truly cares about making a difference where we live. 3. **Learning How We Work Best:** During our team focus session, we shared insights into how we each work best. It was refreshing to see everyone take the exercise seriously and be open about their preferences. This reinforced how stellar our team is! NAPEO President and CEO Casey Clark was recently featured in a CEO Update article about his experience as a first-time CEO! Global teamwork makes the dreamwork! Having spend some time with my international colleagues last week, I would like to pause for a minute to look back and be thankful. Working in a global role often means that you don't get to sit in the same room as the people that you have a meeting with. Therefore, getting the chance to meet up in person with your colleagues from around the globe, feels even more special: Sitting in one room, talking with each other, learning from each other, aligning, collaborating, laughing. What a great time! ...and if you then get the chance to spend a day at RecFest together - learning about innovations, getting inspired - you can easily come to the conclusion that this last week was a very special week.
