🌟 Today, I want to shine a spotlight on something truly special – celebrating our team's work anniversaries! 🎉 It's not just about marking another year on the job; it's about honoring the dedication, hard work, and achievements of each team member. 🏆 As a manager, I believe it's crucial to take this opportunity to not only recognize their tenure at the company but also highlight their contributions and impact over the past year. 🌟 By sharing these celebrations with the larger organization, we create a culture of appreciation and support that extends beyond our immediate team. 🌐 It's a chance for colleagues from different departments to join in and show their gratitude for the incredible work our team members do day in and day out. 💼 To ensure we never miss a milestone, I've found a couple of tips handy – setting calendar reminders for anniversaries with alerts a day or two in advance, or dedicating time at the start of each month or quarter to schedule recognition messages in advance. 🗓️ Let's continue to celebrate these milestones together and show our team members just how valued they are in our organization! 🥳🎈 #WorkAnniversary #EmployeeAppreciation #TeamCelebration

Recruitment Specialist @ West Sussex County Council | Focus on Proactive Recruitment, Talent Attraction and Candidate Experience
This month marks my 5 year work anniversary at West Sussex County Council 🎉 I started on a initial 3 months agency contract with the recruitment team. I have seen so many changes to the recruitment landscape, I have had the chance to secure 3 promotions and worked across a multiude of delivery areas including Children’s, Adults and Corporate. There are a multitude of images I could use to demonstrate the journey I’ve been on. I’ve been to a countless amount of job events and taken the obligatory pictures… But I’ve chosen to include a recent image that shows a positive working environment where you are able to be unapologetic yourself is if not one of the most important things. Yesterday, I was commenting that I feel a unmotivated (we all go through this, I won’t hear otherwise!) and commented in jest that I needed some inspirational quotes in the office and low and behold this sign appeared by my desk. So here’s 5 things I’ve learnt in the last 5 years…. ⭐️Trust the process, it will always work out in the end. ⭐️Push yourself out of your comfort zone and make mistakes. There’s always a lesson or a reason why to be found. ⭐️Be the change you want to see. ⭐️Build and most importantly maintain strong relationships. Your reputation should proceed you. Small talk and attention to detail are key! ⭐️Focus on consistency. It creates its own rewards over time and doesn’t go unnoticed. Bonus ⭐️ - You can’t perform at your best if you don’t focus on looking after yourself physically and mentally. Fill your cup before anyone else’s. Who knows where I’ll be or what I’ll be doing in the next 5 years but what I do know is that I can do whatever I set my mind to - ‘You can do it, Rosa’

Why Work Anniversaries Are Actually Worth Celebrating? Let's be honest, sometimes work anniversaries can feel a bit like participation trophies. But hear me out! Celebrating work anniversaries is a chance to recognize the value employees bring to the table. It's a way of saying, "Hey, we see you, and we appreciate your contributions over the years." Plus, it's a morale booster! A little recognition can go a long way in making employees feel happy and appreciated, which can lead to better productivity and a more positive work environment. So, the next time you see someone celebrating a work anniversary, don't just scroll by. Take a moment to acknowledge their accomplishment. And who knows, maybe next year you'll be the one getting the virtual high fives! #workiversary #employeeappreciation #positiveworkculture

As July wraps up,I have hit a milestone -my 1-year work anniversary as a Projects & Events Officer at C40 Cities. 🎉 I don’t usually make a fuss about work anniversaries, but this one feels Special. It’s not about my extraordinary achievements, but about the power of small, meaningful moments that make our daily work fulfilling and enjoyable. In just a year, I have experienced so much that goes beyond the job description (𝘢 𝘵𝘰𝘱𝘪𝘤 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵!)—lessons in leadership, collaboration, and the essence of a positive work culture. Here’s what stands out: 1. 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: A huge shoutout to whole incredible team and extended team as well their constant guidance and unwavering support. Their belief in my abilities and their encouragement make every challenge feel like a shared mission. 2. 𝗢𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: At C40, I have been entrusted with meaningful tasks and given the freedom to take ownership. The genuine appreciation from my team and leaders makes even the smallest wins feel significant. 3. 𝗔 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁: The little things matter here—like not being contacted for project updates while on leave and the generous two-week well-being break we receive. These gestures create an environment where respect and trust thrive. Personal message to share :- While waiting nervously for my interview results, my dad offered his last words of wisdom that have stayed with me. He said, “𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙣𝙤𝙬—𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙬𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙖 3-𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧-𝙤𝙡𝙙—𝙞𝙨 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙨 𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙧 𝙧𝙤𝙡𝙚. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙨, 𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨, 𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙤𝙣. 𝙃𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙧. 𝙎𝙤, 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙞𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙟𝙤𝙗.” Initially, I misunderstood my dad’s advice, feeling disheartened as if he was suggesting that not getting the job would be acceptable and that I was less deserving. However, once I secured the position, I realized he was emphasizing the importance of dedication and attitude I bring to any task are what truly matter. As I celebrate this milestone, I’m reminded of my dad’s wisdom and how it has guided me to bring my best self to work every day. As I reflect on the positive impact C40 Cities has had on my professional and personal growth, I am motivated to contribute even more to our shared goals and continue learning. Here’s to many more years of making a difference together! 🌍 #Journey #Gratitude #PositiveImpact #C40Cities #Growth

Work anniversary thoughts... Hmm, it feels surreal to be typing this out – my 14-year work anniversary, path of growth, challenges, and countless memories. Don't get me wrong, that I was never thinking if I should have taken a different path, or if there's a grander adventure waiting just beyond the horizon. But then I remember something - I like what I do. I've been entrusted with a responsibility that's both daunting and exhilarating-ensuring Occupational Health and Safety. Working across borders, navigating diverse regulations, and collaborating with colleagues worldwide, every day brings a new puzzle to solve and a new life to safeguard. It's a role that carries weight - the weight of responsibility for the well-being of others, where a misstep could mean more than just a missed deadline. But amidst the seriousness, there's a joy that's hard to explain. Yes, the challenges can be relentless, but they've also been my greatest teachers, shaping me into the person I am today. So, as I pause to celebrate this milestone, I'm filled with gratitude - for the journey that brought me here, for the opportunities that pushed me to grow, and for the incredible people who've believed in me and walked alongside me. Here's to 14 years of learning, of laughter, and of making a difference, one step at a time. Here's to the next chapter, whatever it may hold! #worklife #evolution #anniversary

Celebrating Work Anniversaries. I celebrated my work anniversary this month and it was a time of reflection for me on the work I do. Congratulations to me! Workiversary or workaversary, whatever you choose to call it ( Workiversary generally more acceptable, though), is the anniversary of your start date at your current work place. Similar to how we celebrate our birthdays, workiversaries give us an opportunity to celebrate our journey, growth and contribution to our teams and workplace. Some ideas to celebrate workiversaries: 1. Office party: Share a cake, cookies or treat the office to a catered lunch. If your organization engages remote workers, you can gather the team over zoom and toast to the employee's achievement sharing fun stories working together. 2. Send a gift box: You can send out surprise gift boxes to your employees on their workiversaries using our services at Gift Konsult. Whether you have remote workers in Nigeria or your business is in Nigeria, Gift Konsult can help you send beautifully curated gifts to your employees on their work anniversary. We take the stress off you and we never miss the mark. Celebrating workiversaries is about creating memorable and happy moments. When you celebrate work anniversaries as a business, you are telling your team that their commitment matters; this creates a sense of belonging and motivates your team to increased creativity and productivity. ... And if you are part of an organization where this is not a part of their culture, you can tag them to this post and go ahead to celebrate your self when the time comes. Your work matters and however you choose to celebrate the day, Gift Konsult is your trusted partner for professional gifting services in Nigeria. You can send us an email on giftkonsult@gmail.com.
