𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 10 medjool dates 3 tbsp. peanut butter 3 tbsp. crushed peanuts 3/4 cup dark chocolate, melted 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 ➡️ Line a baking sheet with baking paper. ➡️ Cut each date with a knife and remove the pits (stones). ➡️ Add a small amount of peanut butter to the center of each date, taking care not to overfill the dates. ➡️ Now add a sprinkle of crushed peanuts to each date, pressing down gently to close the dates slightly. ➡️ Use a toothpick to pick up each date and dip it into the bowl of melted dark chocolate, then place it onto the baking sheet. Sprinkle over some additional crushed peanuts and sea salt. ➡️ Place in the freezer for 30 minutes to set. As a company of foodies with a passion for keeping up with the newest food trends, we polled consumers to find out what the UK will be eating this pancake day 🥞 It’s clear we’re a nation of simple taste, as two thirds of our respondents said they’d be keeping their pancakes trad with good old lemon and sugar 🍋 But not everyone is playing it safe, and honey / syrup and chocolate spread emerged as the UK’s joint second favourite toppings. We’re getting warmer 🍯 Fresh fruit stumbles in, huffing and puffing, in third place. It would seem only a quarter of Brits would entertain the idea of something healthy on their pancakes. And to that we say, good on us! One thing we certainly don’t do here in the UK is savoury toppings, and bacon, the most popular non-sweet topping, was only chosen by a tenth of our panel. We think this is a real shame, and it’s about time we saw some more adventure on pancake day 🤠 If we are going to ignite a pancake revolution we need a leader, someone fearless, intrepid, willing to try and prepared to fail in the pursuit of pancake perfection. We’d like to put forward our very own Donna Gash, who likes to drizzle gravy on her pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. Butterfinger Balls Blissful Butterfinger Bonbons Recipe Ingredients: 1 (16-oz) box of powdered sugar 2½ cups of graham cracker crumbs 5 (1.9-oz) Butterfinger bars, crushed into bits 1¼ cup of butter, melted 1½ cups of crunchy peanut butter 1 (24-oz) package of chocolate almond bark or your preferred chocolate candy coating Directions: Mix the Magic: In a large mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar, graham cracker crumbs, crushed Butterfinger bits, melted butter, and crunchy peanut butter. Stir until you have a cohesive mixture begging to be shaped. Roll ’em Up: Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into 1-inch balls. This is where you can get the kids involved or have a moment of Zen rolling these sweet treasures. Chill Out: Place the balls on a tray and refrigerate them for 30 minutes. This helps them firm up and makes them easier to coat in chocolate. Dip in Chocolate: Melt your chocolate almond bark or candy coating as per the package instructions. Dip each chilled ball into the chocolate, ensuring a generous coating, and then place them on parchment or wax paper. Set and Serve: Allow the chocolate-coated balls to sit until the chocolate sets. This is the hard part – waiting to devour them! Cherry Season is here! You'll want to save this recipe for upcoming holidays and gatherings - it's easy and delicious! 🍒Cherry Crisp🍒 4 cups sour cherries, fresh and pitted. 1 Tablespoon Flour, all purpose. ⅓ cup white sugar ¾ cup Flour, all purpose ½ cup Rolled Oats ½ cup Brown Sugar ¾ cup Butter 🍒Preheat the oven to 375 🍒Combine the cherries, sugar, and flour in a bowl. Mix well. 🍒Transfer the berries to a 7x9 or 8x8 baking dish 🍒In another bowl, combine the flour, oats, and brown sugar. make a perfect “lucky” breakfast. ☘️ Shamrock Smoothie Bowl (serves 1) ½ cup (115 g) plain low-fat Greek yogurt ¼ cup (60 ml) unsweetened milk of your choice ½ small frozen banana, sliced ¼ ripe avocado 1 handful baby spinach ¼ cup (50 g) frozen pineapple chunks ¼ cup (50 g) frozen blueberries Optional sweetener: 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup Optional toppings: sliced kiwi and shredded coconut ✅ Place all the ingredients except the optional toppings in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. The mixture will be thick – if you would like a thinner smoothie bowl, pour in a little more milk.
