When citizens are aware about politics, their decision criteria is powerful:- dilemma of choosing from 2 bad things is solved by choosing the less bad thing. Question:- 1. Why is it not possible to have a third item in the MENU of USA's Election??? 2. What were the pushing factors that forced to DESIGN a political system in which only two compulsory choices are made to be available for Citizens?? As we move closer and closer to the 2024 presidential election, I thought it would be interesting to highlight the tribal nature of cable TV news viewers. Data from the Winter 2024 MRI-Simmons National Consumer Study shows political party affiliation of monthly cable news channel viewers. Viewers of MSNBC are 73% more likely to affiliate themselves with the Democrat party whereas Fox News viewers are 93% more likely to be Republican.
