One of the newest "most frequently uttered" terms in insurance these days is "The Tower". Hand in hand with "The Tower" is concern for the exposure to "Your Layer". For a vast majority of business owners and adjusters, "The Tower" introduces a level of complexity not previously encountered by most claim professionals and trying to defend "The Tower" introduces new challenges such as: 1. Approx 70+ different Re/insurance firms are covering around $3 billion ( Moody's analysis) .All thanks to subscriptions it seems not a very significant event for any individual carriers since this will be widely spread across .Else it could have been a disaster for a few. Spreading the risk is the key for long-term survival.
