Great insights from Jenifer Robertson President of AT&T Consumer from Live with Karen Walker 📈 .
My Insights:
~ To this day the seemlessness of the combining the best quality #fiberoptic & #5gconnectivity is being mastered by AT&T. As a #attemployee / technician I’m able to install the very best fiber service, and also normally even before a IHX agent shows up for quality assurance able to price the customer with the absolute simplest pricing structure and help meet the customers pricing and data needs. I pride our #company on being able to provide a local quality contact for #technical and #sales inquires. Having the local face to face person you can always rely on sets us apart. I’ll drop my #1 sales contact here Tyler D. Always reliable!
~ Simple pricing and promotions which are easily reiterated throughout different departments only accelerates customers knowledge and expedites decision making.
~ Customer retention is key, when customers are given what’s promised with reliable pricing structures. Helping customers access there account whether for there home fiber network or mobility is key. Having that extra coverage knowing there data needs are met and they don’t have to worry about anything.
~ As mentioned above, the face-to-face interactions are what set us apart from other companies, that extra personal touch goes a long way. (When we pull into a driveway years after the initial setup and the customer comes out, “Hey John, how have you been”. )
~ Common goals in a organization is key, and having a clear vision of the future that can be filtered downward is ideal.
These are my takeaways and notes to take with my thought my own career advancement. As I listened to the podcast. Make sure to check this podcast out for yourself, enjoyable listen!

FRIDAY TIP: Decision making in the boardroom is often driven by strategic questioning, and research has also shown that such strategic questions can be divided into FIVE segments:
#Inevsitgative - What do we know? Have we all of the facts?
#Speculative - What if we....? Try something different?
#Productive - How can we make it work? What are the options?
#Interpretive - So what does this mean? What have we learnt?
#Subjective - What is unsaid on this issue? Is our intent for a proper purpose?
[Ref; HBR May-June 2024 ed.]
We at BYB have found that poor decision-making is often the road-block to strategic effectiveness, so the question is ; How do you interrogate your decision making? OR Do you?
Let's discuss.....
Professor Victoria Medvec explains how to draft your board bio; explore opportunities and find a good fit; get your CEO’s blessing; lean on your network; sell yourself in an interview; and evaluate the position before you accept it.
