🟩 GREEN CARD or RED CARD? 🟥  🟩 weeztR brandishes its green card for Mustela: the brand that gives up sales to be more sustainable 🟩 After its participation in the Corporate Climate Convention, has taken bold decisions to make its business model more sustainable. 💡🌱 Part of Laboratoires Expanscience, Mustela offers products for the family's skin, especially that of babies. 👶 In 2021, the brand has taken a major decision: it is giving itself six years, until 2027, to stop marketing disposable wipes. “This huge single-use waste clogs drains and generates microparticles in oceans and ecosystems,” reminds Marguerite Laborde. 🌊🌿 The end of disposable wipes sales: a loss of revenue? 💸 A daunting challenge given that these sales account for 20% of Mustela's sales in France (and 2% worldwide). This renunciation will take place in several stages, with a transition to compostable or reusable alternatives, before the total end of disposable wipes sales in 2027. 🔄♻️ But will Mustela really lose a fifth of its sales? Between now and the end of sales, they hope to offset this turnover by creating value elsewhere.
