    🌱 Vista: Reinventing the Sports Ball ... and Bobs!🌱 🎈 Did you know that balls are 100% plastic? 🌍 Oil extraction 🔄 Transformation into plastic using polluting processes. 🏭 Manufactured in Asia in often deplorable conditions 🗑️ 27,000 tonnes of waste per year 💸 Manufactured in countries where workers are paid below the poverty line 🏀 Vista has been taking up the challenge of changing this situation for several years now. Vista supplies eco-responsible, customisable balls and repairs balls that clubs throw away!🌿⚽️ At Vista, car and plane seat covers are given a second life to make these balloons. The result? 50% less plastic! 🌍✂️ The carbon footprint of their balloons is halved compared with "conventional" balloons (7kg of CO2). 🚀♻️ And that's not all: their balloons are repairable, whether for loose wires, a punctured bladder or torn panels. 🔧❤️ 🇫🇷Unfortunately for Vista, the Made in France balloon, doesn't actually work. 💡But Vista was able to bounce back & pivot as they say in entrepreneurship! Today, the company offers other customisable Made in France products. Just like Bobs!☀️ 🤔Vista's mission?     🟩 GREEN CARD or RED CARD? 🟥  🟩 weeztR brandishes its green card for Mustela: the brand that gives up sales to be more sustainable 🟩 After its participation in the Corporate Climate Convention, has taken bold decisions to make its business model more sustainable. 💡🌱 Part of Laboratoires Expanscience, Mustela offers products for the family's skin, especially that of babies. 👶 In 2021, the brand has taken a major decision: it is giving itself six years, until 2027, to stop marketing disposable wipes. “This huge single-use waste clogs drains and generates microparticles in oceans and ecosystems,” reminds Marguerite Laborde. 🌊🌿 The end of disposable wipes sales: a loss of revenue? 💸 A daunting challenge given that these sales account for 20% of Mustela's sales in France (and 2% worldwide). This renunciation will take place in several stages, with a transition to compostable or reusable alternatives, before the total end of disposable wipes sales in 2027. 🔄♻️ But will Mustela really lose a fifth of its sales? Between now and the end of sales, they hope to offset this turnover by creating value elsewhere.     🌿✨ The Chou.au.carré project: the upcycled scrunchie ✨🌿 📆It was in January 2022 that 28-year-old Victoria Adjanohoun decided to launch her brand of responsible scrunchies, Chou.au.carré Respectful of French know-how, she turned to the Villeurbanne-based social integration workshop “Emerjean” to develop her production.🎀👱♀️ 🌱 ECO-RESPONSIBLE MATERIALS 🌱 📉Limiting ecological impact means using low-impact raw materials. Chou.au.carré has chosen to upcycle high-end fabrics. In concrete terms, they recover the end of rolls and production offcuts from traditional fashion houses: silks, velvets from LVMH, Agnès B...⭐️ 🌍 FRENCH MANUFACTURING AND SOLIDARITY 🌍 🇫🇷 Chou² accessories are made in France, in their two partner workshops in Lyon and Paris. These are social integration workshops, where a dozen seamstresses work on their scrunchies and bananas.🪡🧵 Their accessories are therefore fully part of a solidarity-based, as much as eco-responsible, approach.🌿 Join them in this adventure and proudly wear accessories that make a difference.
