On Friday November 10, we presented a $200,000 donation to Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) at our Weis Markets store in Enola PA. This donation was raised during a four-week in-store campaign in October. It also includes a corporate donation. Robert Thomas, U.S. Army Veteran and National President of PVA and his board were on hand to accept our donation. Later that day, we donated $5,000 to the Central PA Food Bank’s Military Share program to benefit American Legion Post 44’s Military Share program in Northumberland, PA. Each month, they serve 150 veteran families. We’re grateful to our customers for their continued support and thankful to the Americans currently serving in the military and our veterans for their past service to our country.
