Enjoyed being a guest speaker at the South China Morning Post’s (SCMP Live) annual DEI Summit today! Here are a few key points that I touched on in my speech. - UN Sustainable Development Goal 17 is the most important goal for ensuring the success of global sustainability and diversity efforts. It is the ability for us to bridge between cultural chasms and meaningfully engage to strengthen our institutions for global cooperation. - Young people are already at the table as the biggest stakeholders in global DEI conversations. We should be empowering youth who are already mobilising to enrich cultural diversity in their local communities and beyond. - Investing in engagement is investing in peace, and intercultural communication represents perhaps the greatest force for peace, stability, prosperity in the 21st century.
