We’re always striving to be better and do even more, which is why each year we undergo this independent assessment to help us ensure we are continuing to improve and delivering services that put our customers at the core of what we do. The latest review recognises our industry-leading support for people in vulnerable circumstances, with our tailored affordability tariffs helping thousands of customers with bill payments in the last year alone. The assessment noted that we were rated second highest in the UK Customer Satisfaction Index list of 20 most improved organisations and third in the entire utilities sector on ‘customer satisfaction and trust’. The report also recognised that we deliver the highest standards of drinking water – measured by the Drinking Water Inspectorate’s quality compliance index – and we’re a top performer in regulator Ofwat’s measure of customer experience.
