30 years ago – 1 July 1994 – a change to the division of interests in Statfjord between Norway and the UK came into force. This is known as a redetermination. Three main reservoirs, in the Brent, Dunlin and Statfjord formations, make up the field. No decision was made in the original unitisation agreement on the treatment of resources in Dunlin. The redetermination was required because it was decided to include Dunlin in the reserve base for Statfjord. Since that formation lies almost wholly in the Norwegian part of the field, the result was that Norway’s share increased from 85.24 per cent to 85.47 per cent. BINDU - A ( EPCC ) PROJECT, TOPSIDE SAILAWAY CEREMONY A sailaway ceremony is a traditional event held to mark the departure of a ship or vessel, particularly after its construction or when it's set to embark on a significant voyage. This type of ceremony is often associated with the maritime industry, especially in the context of new ships, cruise ships, or offshore installations like oil rigs. These ceremonies hold symbolic importance, signifying the readiness of the vessel to enter active service or begin its voyage.
