HOW HAVE I CHANGED AFTER BECOMING A SEAFARER? Before becoming a seafarer: - Accustomed to land based life style. - Didn't know much about life at sea. - Might not be familiar with how things work on ships. - Lack of discipline. After becoming a seafarer: - Got tougher and better at dealing with challenges at sea 🌊. - Learned to love and respect the ocean more 💙. - Made good friends with fellow crew members 👬. - Met people of different nationalities 🇱🇰🇧🇩🇨🇳🇦🇷🇺🇲🇸🇬🇰🇷🇯🇵🇭🇰🇺🇾🇧🇷. - Became more careful about safety and taking care of the environment ⛑️. - Grew personally, becoming more independent and clever 🦊. - Other than this teamwork & discipline 🎯💯🚀. - AND THE MOST IMPORTANT HOW TO LIVE ALONE AND IN ISOLATION🗿. The Day of the Seafarer (25 June) was established in a resolution adopted by the 2010 Diplomatic Conference in Manila to adopt the revised STCW Convention. Through the dangers of geopolitics and piracy, you continue to feed, energize, and drive world trade as only 'key workers' can.
