We have published a review of the Heavy Mineral Sands space which, despite being enormous, flies beneath the radars on many mining investors. While seemingly a calm space, without precipitous price moves in the commodities (#titanium & #zircon), there is a lot of manoeuvring going on by major players and M&A (and other deal-doing) is picking up the pace. Its a space where the Chinese are major players, but are dependent almost exclusively for their non-domestic sources upon foreign companies, rather than owning assets overseas themselves.
