The first day of November Maybe we could stop bickering on this site for a day. Everyone's right and everyone's wrong. We're adults with points of view about world events, yet the commonality is all of us have personal challenges, obstacles, that have nothing to do with arguing with each other. Rather than taking political and religious views and putting them on display we come here and argue. Minds have been made up - unchangeable processes that've gone on for generations bubble up and burst. Friends and connections fizzle, heated arguments, and rogue notions surface with the intensity of rabid butterflies on some designer drug manufactured by that wretched part of ourselves to put a spin on things. WE DON'T KNOW what's going on overseas, and despite the videos and news clips we become more divided - And what good is that? They hate them, we're on this side we're on that side...on and on. Chill the time isn't right to tinker with each other, we don't know who's who or what's what - It's easy to get ugly with words in the comfort of your homes. It isn't easy to get down and dirty, feet on the ground in fatigues and do, but people can, assuredly will, and all this divisiveness may usher in WWIII. So wait, watch and listen to the people on the ground you know or trust. No need to comment and escalate - the need is to pay attention and disallow crowd-think because that shit is going backfire. This isn't the time to blame, that'll come another day. Putting yourself on display as a for or against without wholly knowing reads like the chatter on a land mine laden playground. So take a step back, tend to your affairs, and teach your children to avoid crowds...or don't. This song is out of date, a different era, a different war, another atmosphere, but it's apt and something to consider: Same shit a different day. https://lnkd.in/eYYv-9ht
