What comes to your mind when you hear the word- Pet Parent? The term is still a new concept for many of us who do not have a pet at home or in their circle. Pet parent is someone who does not see their pet as a possession, rather we raise them as our child. We are EMOTIONAL ones- invested in each and every aspect of their life like a human parent. We are the new NORMAL - having a bond with our child which works beyond spoken words. We are the HARDWORKING ones RAISING our children to be successful (yes pets can be successful too) and live the healthiest life. We go above and beyond to ensure our child is SAFE and comfortable. We are the CRAZY ones, who convert a 2 hour flight into a 14 hour car journey to be able to take our kids along. We are the RATIONAL ones - answering each and every question of the society with a smile (mostly ;)) We are the PROUD ones melting at one Hi-five or purr. Cheers to being a pet parent and being the poineers of co-existence. 🐾 #proudpetparent #dogsarefamily #petparents

I can't even tell you when or how I started to become interested in learning more about car-seat safety...But I'm now invested...and so should you be too! 🚨 Much like many other child and baby products, not all car-seats are equal and advertising and information isn't always clear so you can make the safest, and best, decision for you and your family 👨👩👦👦 So, this is my little attempt to get the word out to even just one person who sees it 👀: Rear-facing car-seats are not just for young babies...Children's bodies are not developed to safely forward-face until they are at least 4 years old and preferably beyond - up to 5 or 6 years! The neck and spine are both still in their early years and at risk of serious damage in the event of an accident where the car stops suddenly and their body moves forward (even with their harness on) ⚠ If facing backwards, these delicate and vital areas are protected during an impact, by the padding and shell of the seat Although some parents worry that rear-facing would be uncomfortable for their child as they grow, this is not the case with children often preferring not having their legs dangling (as they are front-facing!). Meanwhile, they can enjoy looking out of the rear-windows at the surroundings they're leaving behind while enjoying their ride in the safest way possible! 🚛🚙🚚🚕 If you're reading this and you've already turned your little one around, it's not too late. Check your seat's limits. Perhaps your bigger child can be your helper, showing their younger sibling how to sit safely facing backwards and keeping an eye on them, or perhaps they can be given important tasks like looking out for cars behind you! 🔍 If you're just at the start of your car-seat research, look at options for extended rear-facing, to save you money, and more importantly, your child's upmost safety, in the long-run! If you have questions, there are lots of groups online - my go-to is the Facebook group @carseatadviceUK 📧💬 #BabiesAndToddlers #babyshopping #travellingwithababy #babies #babys #parentingsupport #northlondonbasedmaternitynurse #londonmaternitynurse #carseatsafety #carseatsafetytips #carseatsafetyawareness

When kids start taking care of a pet, it marks a special moment in their emotional development. It’s more than just feeding and playing—it’s about learning responsibility, empathy, and compassion. Pets teach children to care for another living being, helping them understand patience and the importance of routines. As they bond with their pets, kids also develop emotional connections that foster trust and companionship. This process can boost their self-esteem, as they take pride in their ability to nurture and look after their furry (or scaly!) friend. Caring for a pet helps children recognize and manage emotions, creating a sense of security and understanding. It's a journey that not only benefits the pet but also shapes the child's emotional intelligence for years to come. 🐾❤️ #PetCare #EmotionalDevelopment #KidsAndPets #KidsAndPets #EmotionalGrowth #PetCare #ChildDevelopment #EmpathyBuilding #Responsibility #PetBonding #LifeLessons #GrowingWithPets #PetLove https://lnkd.in/gVPx6STP

🐠🌿 Having a fish pet can positively impact your child's development? Not only do fish make great low-maintenance pets, but they also provide numerous benefits for children's growth and well-being. 🧠 Fish tanks can help children learn about responsibility and routine as they take on the task of feeding and caring for their fish. This can instill a sense of accomplishment and teach important life skills. 🌈 Watching fish swim around in their tank can also have a calming effect, reducing stress and anxiety in children. It's a great way to introduce a sense of peace and tranquility into their daily lives. 👧👦 Plus, observing fish behavior can spark curiosity and encourage children to learn more about aquatic life, fostering a love for animals and the environment. 🐟 So if you're looking for a fun and educational pet for your child, consider getting a fish! Not only will it bring joy and companionship, but it will also contribute to their overall development. #FishPet #ChildDevelopment #LearningThroughPets 🐠🌿

(- : noFoe : -) Reflections on Tue, 11jun24 🌄😀🌅 Good Morning 🙏🏽😀🙏🏽 If you have the opportunity to play this game of life you need to appreciate every moment. A lot of people don't appreciate the moment until it's passed. ~ Kanye West Pets are humanizing. They remind us we have an obligation and responsibility to preserve and nurture and care for all life. ~ James Cromwell RELEVANT OBSERVANCE BY THE WORLD TODAY (theme / information / purpose "tip"): 01. UN - International Day of Play (The first-ever International Day of Play, to be observed on 11 June 2024, marks a significant milestone in efforts to preserve, promote, and prioritise playing so that all people, especially children, can reap the rewards and thrive to their full potential. Beyond mere recreation, Play is a universal language spoken by people of all ages, transcending national, cultural, and socio-economic boundaries. This shared passion fosters a sense of community and national pride. It also fosters resilience, creativity, and innovation in individuals. Play helps children build relationships and improves control, overcoming trauma, and problem-solving. It helps children develop the cognitive, physical, creative, social, and emotional skills they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Restricting play opportunities directly impedes a child’s well-being and development. In educational settings, play-based learning has been recognised as a practical approach to engage students actively in the learning process. It helps make learning more enjoyable and relevant, enhancing motivation and information retention.) 02. World Pet Memorial Day (It’s no secret that people love their pets. And rightly so. These wonderful creatures provide companionship, emotional support, and lots of joy. Pets are also beneficial for one’s health. For example, those with pets have decreased blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Additionally, pets provide increased opportunities for exercise. Every year, on the second Tuesday in June, World Pet Memorial Day offers pet owners a time to remember their furry companions who have passed away.) Make it a Wonderful Day 👍🏽😀👍🏽 ------- Are you a (- : noFoe : -) ? n = nation / national / native o = opting F = Friendship o = over e = enmity -------
