It's not often we think of judicial centers as inviting spaces for children & families, but the new Unified Family Courts at the Pinellas County Justice Center were directly designed to better serve families & juveniles. The new annex is complete with family rooms & dedicated breakout rooms to offer privacy, a sense of security, & better collaboration with judges. The new CJC even comes complete with a play area. Together with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, WDA developed a design that focused on mitigating the stress of attending court for children & families.
