Our BOP Shutdown System is an evolution of the original BOP 150’s launched to the market over 15 years ago. As ROV systems became more powerful they were able to cope with demand of 255l/min to feed these larger systems. The current system which is essentially a BOP 450 have been developed on lessons learned. One of the main features is our double body 460/90 pump which we developed with Dynaset as custom product. Simplifying the circuit, reducing areas where flow was being restricted, creating manifolds and trying to make these as user friendly as possible. This system has an output of 450l/min on its high flow stage 1 setting. We have around six of these on active rentals, have sold double digits and I have a couple in stock both new and rental. #ROVTooling #ROV #SubseaEngineering

Controllable Pitch Propeller (CPP) engine controls without tug assistance is tough. Ship's behavior berthing port side is the exact opposite of berthing starboard. Considering external dynamics of a different day and locality. One has to do it many times to master the art of piloting CPP vessels.

Prevention of Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Overlimit Events Maintenance, Flight Operations and flight crews can all play a role to prevent EGT overlimit events. Role of Maintenance - Monitoring engine performance degradation - Avoid fitting two performance limited engines to the same aircraft - Regular engine washes - Sharing engine performance information Role of Flight Operations - Adapting operations for aircraft with performance-limited engines - Informing flight crews Role of Flight Crew - Engine warm-up time - Use reduced takeoff thrust - Take off with packs OFF - Take off with APU BLEED ON https://lnkd.in/dTa36QAG

It was reported that the ammeter indicator fluctuates or even shows zero. I did Generator balance according to the first procedure, which did not work! The pilot had reported that this happens mostly during take off! Naturally, we have a lot of vibration in the helicopter during take off and landing! I doubted that we probably have a loose wire connection problem somewhere, and because we had a PCW inspection on this Starter/Generator two weeks ago! I doubted even more! I opened the starter! Yes, all the connectors (wires) of the brushes were loose and each one had to be tightened a full turn! After checking the commutator and the level of the brushes, I installed the starter and the helicopter started and the problem was solved! #A109E #Agusta #Leonardo #starter_generator
