I am definitely having some FOMO as I see friendly faces having a great time at the #CWSSummit in London. Great to see that AI and analytics are taking center stage. There is such a spectrum of current states within both topics. Within AI, if you haven't started creating a GPT for a multitude of use cases, start looking into it. No need to share proprietary data or PII. And yes, there is a possibility not everything will be perfecto, but it will move you from zero to one (or one thousand!). And of course, analytics. Because I have lived contingent labor analytics for 12 years, I take for granted all the different ways that data insights can be useful for a CW program. Gain visibility, start asking questions, analyze bill rates, markups, worker types, skills portfolios, supplier dynamics. If you are at CWS, talk to the vendors about how they can help you. AI and analytics are table stakes now. You don't need your own LLM or to be a Power BI savant, but you need to be aware of the latest tech developments to make a conscious choice on to what degree you will adopt!
