PMFHEV is the greenest car (6-4) Technical points. Efficiency. The two major losses of frictional transmission - bearing losses caused by positive pressure passing through bearings and sliding friction caused by Hertz deformation in the contact area - are basically non-existent in FHEV. The frictional positive pressure is generated by the planetary friction wheel itself under the action of centrifugal force, and it does not pass through the bearings. The internal contact between planetary friction wheels and fixed friction wheels and rotatable friction wheels is point contact rolling friction. It is very similar to the inner contact between the ball and the outer ring of a ball bearing, but of course, the curvature difference is much smaller. Its rolling friction loss is very small. It is extremely small within the main working range of the transmission ratio. The axial component of the above two contact forces of the planetary friction wheel will be applied to the planetary bearing. Therefore, the design should make them opposite in direction and as much as possible cancel each other out. Other technical points for improving efficiency will not be discussed here. A well-designed ZY centrifugal friction continuously variable transmission can achieve a transmission efficiency of 0.94-0.99 within the main transmission ratio range, which is higher than various current hydraulic mechanical transmissions and friction transmissions. Its comparable cost is much lower than that of current continuously variable transmissions.

Turbocharger Shaft Component The turbocharger shaft, as one of the key components inside the turbocharger, is a precision part that operates at high speeds and extreme temperatures. The manufacturing process is complex, requiring high precision and material selection. It is the core technology of turbocharger manufacturing, ensuring reliable and quiet operation at high speeds. The turbocharger shaft can be made of three different superalloy materials to suit the operating conditions of the turbocharger. It consists of a high-grade steel shaft and a turbine wheel. The turbine wheel is electron beam welded onto the shaft, creating an extremely strong and reliable weld joint. Each turbocharger shaft is specially designed, with the turbine wheel featuring a complex aerodynamic shape. Exhaust gases enter through the turbine wheel blades' guide vanes, maximizing energy transfer through rotation. The contour profile strictly matches the shape of the turbocharger housing, with very small clearances.
