Just finished reading the 2024 edition of Capgemini Research Institute's #ConsumerTrends report and it's definitely worth a read for retailers! The report highlights how consumers are more aware than ever of the power of their purchasing decisions. Some interesting insights include: 🛍️ GenAI is used by consumers across generations for shopping experiences. 🛍️ 1 in 4 consumers have bought a product through social media. 🛍️ 1 in 5 consumers have bought from celebrity/influencer brands in the past year, with Gen Z leading the way.
