How current PMJM is compared to past Prime Ministers. Refer to Post-courier of May 5, 2022. This is Peter O'Neill and his comrades last attempt at discrediting PMJM. The Lord God Almighty sees the heart and reads the minds of a person, judges their motives and discredits their evil purposes and intents. Every unjustified criticism and every blame and false accusations will be converted to PMJMs credit. The more curses and unjustified blames hurled at him and his Government the more blessed he becomes and they are infact helping him to cement his tenure ship for years to come. Many are telling PMJM to resign for a mishap that he was not responsible for. WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ABOVE AND BELOW ? WHAT ABOUT STORMING THE JUDGES CHAMBERS, WHAT ABOUT BURNING OF AN AIRPLANE AT MENDI, WHAT ABOUT CALLING THE FATHER OF THE NATION, LATE SIR MICHAEL SOMARE AN ALIEN OR UNCEREMONIOUSLY HURLING HIM OUT OF THE PARLIAMENT HOUSE. AND I HEAR SOME JUNIOR APPRENTICES CALLING PMJM TO RESIGN AND I MUST STATE HERE THAT MANY OF THESE PROBLEMS HAVE ACCUMULATED OVER THE YEARS WHEN MANY OF THESE FIRST TERM MPs WERE NOT EVEN CONCEIVED AND HOW MUCH DO THEY KNOW TO BLAME PMJM FOR FAILING TO MANAGE THE COUNTRY AS THEY SAY. THEN THEY MUST TELL THE NATION OF PNG HOW ARE THEY GOING TO REVERSE THE SITUATION AND DILEMMA THAT WE FACED WITH. WHAT ARE THEIR QUICK FIX SOLUTIONS FOR THE NEXT 2 YEARS TILL 2027? THEY MUST FIRSTLY ASSURE PNG THAT THEY ARE GOING TO REDUCE THE BORROWINGS TO LESS THAN K10 BILLION BEFORE 2027 NGE, OTHERWISE , STOP THE NONSENSE PLS. We are praying that the Lord God Almighty bless PNG and PMJM to run this country for it is no coincidence but rather by design that PMJM is at the helms of MV PNG for Hela has been around before independence, Hela was one of the PNGs Constitutional planning Committee Memberships through Late One and only Knight, Sir Matiabe Yuwi, least to say and Hela has contributed immensely to the Development and economy of PNG and still maintaining that status quo. Why so selective? 🤔 In response to Prime Minister Davis' distorting account of our country's history during his address on November 25, 2023, at Lyford Cay Club (the speech you were never meant to hear), I would like to reflect on the transformative years from 1992 to 2002 under the Free National Movement (FNM), a narrative of historic prosperity and progress emerges. It was a period of visionary leadership, spearheaded by Hubert Ingraham, that set The Bahamas on a trajectory of positive change. Economic Renaissance: In 1992, the FNM assumed the reins of government amid economic stagnation. The defeated Pindling administration had lost credibility, and the country yearned for a new direction. The FNM's arrival ushered in transparent and accountable governance, laying the foundation for a decade of unprecedented growth. Revitalizing Tourism and Economy: Under the FNM's stewardship, The Bahamas witnessed an economic revival fueled by major investments. Iconic resorts like Atlantis became symbols of a thriving tourism industry, contributing to historic prosperity. The privatization of state-run hotels and the infusion of new tourism properties significantly expanded the middle class, creating a more vibrant and inclusive society. Infrastructure Development: The FNM's commitment extended beyond economic revitalization to crucial infrastructure development. New airports, bridges, roads, docks, schools, water works, health-care centers, housing projects, government offices, police stations, and postal offices were among the tangible improvements that shaped a modern and efficient Bahamas. Media Freedom and Connectivity: Under the visionary leadership of Hubert Ingraham, the FNM opened up broadcast media, providing greater freedom of speech and fostering new business and career opportunities. Parliamentary sessions were televised live for the first time on the Parliamentary Channel, allowing Bahamians to witness the work of their legislators. The introduction of cable TV and the internet across the country further connected communities and facilitated access to information. Legacy of Progress: The FNM's transformative era from 1992 to 2002 was more than a chapter in history; it was the "second birth of the nation." FNMs believed in creating a modern and meritocratic Bahamas where every citizen deserved an opportunity to thrive. Oh my God, don't the Ontario Ministers get it? They are not allowed to do their jobs BY DOUG FORD, their Premier and "commander", so when the public get upset that issues are totally ignored by the supposedly mandated Ontario Ministers, and have to appeal to Federal, Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister to/for ALL of us Canadians, he MUST take action to ensure issues are resolved and Canadians are made comfortable and happy to be Canadians!! It is that simple! What does Doug Ford expect? When he does not allow any of his ministers to even respond that they received an appeal from a constituent/resident/citizen of Ontario for rectification of an issue that is important to them, and then when NOTHING is ever resolved or attended to in Ontario, what do you expect the people to do? Let stuff be as it is, or escalate to the overall manager of their lives in Canada, the Prime Minister? Do your job Doug Ford, AND LET YOUR MINISTERS have the freedom to do theirs, then this situation won't take place. https://lnkd.in/giRdyAwG

So let me get this right. In awarding Daniel Andrews the Companian of the Order of Australia, this is what the Federal Labor government considers "eminent service to the people and parliament of Victoria, to public health, to policy and regulatory reform, and to infrastructure development". Hotel Quarantine: Daniel Andrew's this COVID policy directly led to the death of 700 Victorians and shoved Victoria in months-long, ruinous lockdown. A policy that no one in his Labor government could remember anything about during an inquiry. Big Build: A government program so inept that it is costing Victorians $26billion dollars to build a 10-km road; and has plunged Victorians into a shocking debt of $156.2 billion and rising. Money that it is now taking out of hospitals, schools and social services to pay for. Reduction of private enterprise: Victoria was the only state in Australia to see the total number of registered businesses reduce last year - what a feat! Commonwealth Games: The government bid, won and then withdrew from hosting the Commonwealth Games. The only thing Victorians are left with is a bill of more than $589 million (and growing) as penalties for all the contracts reneged. Politicisation of the public service: Here is what the Victorian Ombudsman had to say about Daniel Andrews' and Jacinta Allan's treatment of the public service. When speaking to the public servants, "Two sentiments stood out – concern and fear. Concern about what people saw as the quickening corrosion of longstanding Westminster principles of responsible government. Fear that if they spoke up, if they were in any way identifiable as having done so, their careers would be finished." Terrorising its own population: A final feather in Daniel Andrews' cap is that Victoria police working under his guidance handcuffed and arrested a pregnant woman with no criminal record from her home in front of her young children for the crime of putting a fairly mild social media post calling for a protest. (There were many ways to handle the situation, and the police decided on the harshest.) Victorians today pay the highest fines, penalties and taxes and live with fast eroding rights, potholed roads, underfunded hospitals and public services, housing crisis, record debt, and sky rocketing energy prices. “TfNSW is a #government department that has literally gone off the rails. They are a law unto themselves because they certainly don’t feel the need to follow the law of the Supreme Court of NSW” Angela Vithoulkas I am calling for the Auditor General to investigate TfNSW immediately and assess the behaviour and mismanagement of public resources and funds.   I sat in on the NSW Parliament Budget Estimates Committee this week, 4 hours of my life that I will never get back and was gobsmacked by what I heard. Even after being an elected person for 10 years I couldn’t believe what has been going on within TfNSW.   They are without a doubt the worst government department in #Australia. They have managed to frighten several NSW Premiers, a truckload of Ministers and 2 successive governments. All, just to prove a point. That they didn’t like the independent decision of a judge in the NSW Supreme Court that clearly said that TfNSW was WRONG.   This is all about the Class Action Light Rail Court Case that I brought hundreds of small businesses together to SUCCESSFULLY sue the NSW Government. After 5 long years we finally got justice with a judgement in our favour. Winners are grinners right? Wrong. The PRSI increases announced today by Minister Humpreys will take employer payroll taxes to 17.65% by 2034. The social fund has an accrued pensions liability of €349bn, and needs adequate funding. And yes, other countries have higher employer payroll taxes (but they also have free healthcare and pay-related benefits). Yet, at 4%, our employee PRSI is one of the lowest social contributions in the EU. Employers are not against paying more in payroll taxes, but simply want politicians to understand that the increased payroll cost will be funded though higher priced goods and services, reduced worked hours, higher productivity, or a combination of all three. Are we finally seeing the seeds of levelling up in the UK? Today, Starmer's cabinet is the most state-educated in history with only 4% having been privately educated. In contrast, despite decades of New Labour and One-Nation Conservative socio-liberalist rule, the UK’s establishment is overwhelmingly elitist. Whilst less than 1% of UK graduates are from Oxbridge, as of 2019, 56% of permanent secretaries had graduated from Oxford or Cambridge, and 39% had attended both a private school and Oxbridge. In relation to Whitehall and other public bodies, on average those who attended Oxbridge, included: Permanent Secretaries 56%, Diplomats 51%, Public Body Chairs 40%, Public Body CEOs 25%, BBC Executives 31%, and Senior Judges 71%[1]. Even in the Church of England, the majority of its Bishops (who sit in the House of Lords) were privately educated, 36% attended a grammar school and just 13% attended a comprehensive school. Analysis of the bishops' undergraduate education has revealed that 43% undertook their first degrees at Oxford or Cambridge.[2] The University of Durham, which has ‘something of a reputation for being a popular choice for those unfortunate enough to be denied a place at Oxford and Cambridge’[3] was, by a large margin, the third-commonest Alma Mater: 17% of bishops received their first degree from that institution. Is it any wonder, that the UK electorate has voted sharply against their gaslighting patrician rulers, who deem them 'plebs'? Self-evidently, there is now a cultural dichotomy between the British Cabinet who think they should run the country and the 'Establishment' that really runs the country.
