“Every child is an artist. The problem is staying an artist when you grow up.”—Keith Haring, the American artist whose pop art emerged from the New York City graffiti subculture of the 1980s, was born on this day. As children, we are innately curious, unafraid to express ourselves and explore the world around us through art. However, as we mature, societal pressures, self-doubt, and the pursuit of practicality often dim the creative flame within us. The challenge lies in navigating adulthood while holding on to that childlike wonder. Haring's words serve as a reminder for us to rekindle our creative spark, to follow our passions, and to dare to dream beyond the constraints of adult responsibilities. There’s no day like to day to reawaken your wonder. See this artwork at WNDR San Diego. There’s also one of his works installed at WNDR Chicago. https://lnkd.in/gPwgXb6K https://lnkd.in/g_q_iPAd
