Meeting with fellow marketers at Pavilion get-together in Atlanta was meaningful for many reasons. Nicole Wojno Smith did an awesome job of organizing and the venue was perfect. You can guess it. One major topic of discussion was the accuracy of AI in content generation and other fields of marketing. The positive takeaway that was mid-market and enterprise segments have started going for annual, team-based licenses of AI products. I am one of those who never builds a product until I see the money. Some other observations were: 1. "Fractional" sales and marketing are quite common now. 2. Deals taking longer to close are affecting others too. Sam Jacobs Thanks for continuing to build this community. Lindsay Britt brought in-depth insights into the latest uses of AI in marketing. Domenic Ravita brought up the topic of hallucinations from AI tools. Mousa Ackall has done it all before at Wingspan and enlightened us with various aspects of marketing including product marketing. I often get asked - How did I come up with the name - OceanFrogs. This gives me so many meetings. This meeting was no different. There are some decisions that you become proud of ..in your life. Choosing the name "oceanFrogs" has been one of them.

I'm happy to share with y'all that my twin sibling and I are in a new Netflix docuseries - You Are What You Eat: A Twin Experiment - streaming January 1. (scroll to link below to watch the trailer) #TWINNING NEWS For over 30 years, my sister Rosalyn and I have been part of a national Twin Registry now housed at Stanford University School of Medicine. We've been participants in various scientific research - from early facial recognition software, to a shingles vaccine efficacy study for younger populations, to flu and other immunology studies, even language acquisition studies. Some studies are paid and some are not. Ros and I always have a conversation to discern the benefits and risks of each study before we consent. This one took a little convincing for Ros; I'm glad she agreed. She's glad I got randomized into the #vegan group. The point I want to lift up is this: as a monozygote, a WOC, South Asian-identified person, I know that scientific data in our country doesn't apply to me. Check out books 'The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks' by Rebecca Skloot & 'Invisible Women' by Caroline Criado Perez. Ros and I have specific privileges that accompany being identical twins. We are able to scrutinize and make ourselves intentionally available to participate; we have the capacity to engage in and make choices in how we express our 'uniqueness'. We have also found that these twin studies are events where we get to spend time hanging out, contributing to scientific research, and so it's both fulfilling and rewarding for us. Whether or not you're a twin, there are a number of legit scientific research studies wherein you can exercise your autonomy to contribute to societal advancement or critique it. BOTH ARE NEEDED. I think of community interaction in this same way - my level of engagement helps to enhance my enjoyment of life, affirms my #kapwa values, and keeps me curious about our human existence & coexistence. This, my friends, is also #kapwaforever Thank you for reading this far. Call to action: If you're a Filipinx/a/o-identified medical health professional researcher or are networked to some, please connect me. https://lnkd.in/gfddXhHs

In this Transforming Health series, it’s great to hear colleagues from different countries talking about access to innovation – the challenges, some successes, and the key issues ahead. And in this first episode, Netherlands Managing Director Erik Holl and BeLux Market Access Director Ellen Vanhaeren discuss the impact that market access could have on bringing the next generation of medicines to patients. Some important insights here – well worth a listen! #transforminghealth #innovation #marketaccess
We’re thrilled to bring you a new series exploring some of the biggest challenges in getting new and innovative medicines to patients.
