I became a member of the Young African Leaders Initiative in 2023 but have not shared this new and enriching membership opportunity. The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Network connects the next generation of African leaders with resources designed to enhance leadership skills, bolster entrepreneurship, and connect young African leaders with one another. Mission Showcase a new generation of young African leaders shaping the continent’s future. Reinforce the U.S. commitment to fostering two-way dialogue between the United States and African youth. Help young people in Africa develop skills and networks to build brighter futures for their communities and countries. The YALI Network is one of three pillars of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), the U.S. Government’s signature effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders. Africa’s significant youth population represents an invaluable resource for the continent. YALI was launched in 2010 to support young African leaders as they spur growth and prosperity, strengthen democratic governance, and enhance peace and security across Africa. The YALI Network is managed by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of African Affairs.

I am at day 2 of the Governance Institute of Australia International Leadership Conference and what an interesting morning discussing cognitive ability from a neuroscientist's perspective, geopolitics and global risk. It can be difficult to remain optimistic in the world we live in today with the current geopolitical climate while there are many facets to having a global outreach. Through good governance we aim at the Global Empowering Women Organisation to work with all developing and developed nations in need. Understanding the needs is one thing while understanding the geopolitical and global risk associated is another and one day possibly with the work of men and women international relations will have a breakthrough generating global peace and stability.

It's an honour to have been selected as one of The Peak's Emerging Leaders for 2024 in Finance & Investing. It's inspiring to see so many other young Canadian leaders being highlighted. Today, that idea has blossomed into the Top 100 Africa Future Leaders Empowerment Summit, an extraordinary event that brought together 64 exceptional students, leaders, and changemakers from across Africa. 🚀 But it wasn’t always easy. There were countless sleepless nights, countless emails, and a fair share of setbacks. There were moments when the journey felt overwhelming, when the goal seemed far too ambitious. But each challenge was met with resilience, fueled by the belief that we can do all things. Every struggle of the Leaders — the individual stories of overcoming adversity, achieving academic excellence, and leading impactful community projects—proved that no dream is too big, no goal too high. It’s not just about being top of the class or winning awards; it's about making a difference. It’s about daring to dream and having the courage to act on those dreams. To every young person reading this, know this: 👉🏾 You can turn your ideas into reality. 👉🏾 You can make a difference in your community. 👉🏾 You can do all things. Believe in yourself.
