Well done Heidrick and Struggles for establishing the right starting place through impirtant questions for CEOs. It is interesting these days where i see many companies claiming to be diverse but in reality all the want to do is measure how many males, females and other modern gender types are in high positions in the company. My teams were never interested in the numbers. What they wanted to see was a fair and equal opportunity environment for both learning and appointments. True diversity must include all segments: A. Gender for sure. B. Social class. Make sure opportunity is given to all - not just those that had a high education but also non-graduates. People from the lowest classes as well as “nobility”. C. Disabled as well as able bodied. Actually in my experience this group adds big time to your company culture. They have won the battle with their challenges in life and bring this fantastic attitude to solving business problems. D. Race, Nationality, Culture mix brings a wide and valuable contribution to “Corporate Thinking”. E. Age. Opportunities for all regardless of age. Let me ask you how does your company make use of the valuable experience of those over retirement age? Oh you dont make use of them! What a waste of talent. Thanks H and S. Just to add a little emphasis to this debate and how it can get silly. I closely monitor tge Thai Life Insurance sector. A few days ago i saw one company celebrating in the press their “Pride DAY”. Within days i say another company go to the press with ifs “Pride WEEK”. If that was not enough two days later i saw press cuttings fir another company celebrating its “Pride MONTH”. Is that what is about? No cannot be. Diversity is not just about “pride” its about many sectors. And its not about a DAY, a WEEK, or a MONTH. It is forever! I have to ask, “Are shareholders really onboard with these efforts.” The cost must be a factor and they should ve challenging CEOs to demonstrate business value from all these events they are running. Just an after thought. SHIFT FROM DIVERSITY TO EQUAL OPPORTUNITY WHICH SHOULD BE MEASURED BY IMPROVED CORPORATE PERFORMANCE.

How Imagination can help us to navigate the perception’s complex world Thank you Stefano Salvatore for sharing these insights. After reading this study, I've realized how critical imagination is in empowering leaders to navigate such challenges. The complex dynamics of ecosystems often hinge upon relationships, and we understand that relationships change the way people experience the world. It’s our preconceptions that create blind spots, diminishing our ability to truly see. Imagination is essential for envisioning how intertwined talents, individuals, and processes can synergize for better performance. While maintaining transparency within organizational culture is fundamental for effective leadership, fostering transformative collaboration takes it a step further. It involves transcending our preconceived ideas, embodying excellence, sharing knowledge, demonstrating commitment, collaborating with others, and continuously striving for personal and team improvement.  It's not merely an action but a way of life. And to do this, we need imagination, resilience, and purpose. As Alan Turing famously remarked, "Those who can imagine anything can create the impossible." Let's keep it responsive and dare to imagine!
